Juni 2008<\/p>\n<p>Drogenabh\u00e4ngigkeit: glaubw\u00fcrdige, fr\u00fchzeitige und umfassende Pr\u00e4vention n\u00f6tig<\/p>\n<p>Anl\u00e4sslich des heutigen internationalen Tages gegen den Drogenmissbrauch erkl\u00e4rt Harald Terpe, sucht- und drogenpolitischer Sprecher:<\/p>\n<p>Politik reagiert h\u00e4ufig erst dann, wenn das Kind bereits in den Brunnen gefallen ist. Hierbei ist die derzeitige Drogen- und Suchtpolitik keine Ausnahme. Suchtpr\u00e4vention wird von der Bundesregierung h\u00e4ufig als \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit missverstanden. Plakatkampagnen, Internetseiten und Fernsehspots k\u00f6nnen allerdings langfristig angelegte und aufeinander abgestimmte Ma\u00dfnahmen der Pr\u00e4vention nicht ersetzen.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nNotwendig ist aus unserer Sicht hingegen die St\u00e4rkung der Pr\u00e4vention mit der Arbeit vor Ort, der Beeinflussung des Lebensumfeldes und gesellschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen sowie der Zusammenarbeit vieler Ebenen und Akteure. Auch die Glaubw\u00fcrdigkeit der Ma\u00dfnahmen hat eine gro\u00dfe Bedeutung. So ist es f\u00fcr viele Menschen nicht nachvollziehbar, dass staatliche Kampagnen einen ma\u00dfvollen Alkoholkonsum propagieren, w\u00e4hrend die Alkoholindustrie insbesondere an Jugendliche gerichtet f\u00fcr ihre Produkte mit dem Ziel der Absatzsteigerung werben kann. Bund und L\u00e4nder sind daher in der Pflicht, wirksam auszuschlie\u00dfen, dass Jugendliche zu Adressaten der Alkoholwerbung werden.
